Thank you for choosing Casa Thymus!

By making a reservation, you confirm that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions below.

The person completing the reservation form will remain the main point of contact and is responsible for confirming details and communicating with our team.

📌 Minimum stay is 2 nights, and during certain periods of the year, 3 nights.

🏡 Casa Thymus consists of two comfortable villas, each offering generous spaces for relaxation:

  • Villa 1: 4 upstairs bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
  • Villa 2: an upstairs apartment with its own bathroom and two downstairs bedrooms, which share a common bathroom.

📍 We are located in the heart of the Vrancea Mountains Nature Reserve. Access is easy, on paved roads in very good condition.

📸 Filming and photography for commercial purposes are allowed only with the hosts' consent.

🔒 Casa Thymus reserves the right to refuse reservations under certain conditions, to protect the special atmosphere of the place.

💳 To confirm your reservation, a 30% advance payment of the total accommodation package value is required (with or without meals, depending on your choice).

🛏️ Accommodation Terms of Use

  • Check-in: starting at 3:30 PM
  • Check-out: by 11:00 AM (unless otherwise agreed)

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Maximum Capacity

  • Villa 1 (upper): 8 adults + 4 children
  • Villa 2 (lower): 6 adults + 4 children

🌿 Our offer is always personalized – we consider the number of people, duration of stay, chosen package (with/without meals), and calendar period.

Important

  • The confirmed price remains valid even if, upon arrival, fewer people show up than initially communicated.
  • If the group is larger than the one booked, please notify us at least 3 days in advance, to adjust the package.

⚠️ Access for other people to the villa (who are not part of the reserved group) is not permitted without our consent.

📝 The person who made the reservation will complete a registration form upon arrival (or before).

🏡 The choice of accommodation is made in an informed manner. Casa Thymus is not responsible if the traditional style of the property does not meet individual expectations. We recommend detailed consultation of the information available on www.casa-thymus.ro before booking.

🚭 Smoking is not permitted indoors. You may smoke outdoors, but please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground – it is a sensitive area, and during dry periods, the risk of fire is high.

🕯️ For the same reasons, candles are not permitted inside the house.

If you use the gas heaters on the terrace, please always turn them off after use.

🏚️ The house is built from natural materials – the walls are made of earth, plastered with wattle and daub and slaked lime. Small cracks may appear, being specific to the traditional style and not affecting the structure. Sound insulation is reduced.

💧 Water and ⚡ electricity are valuable resources for us and the community of Soveja. Please use them responsibly.

🧼 For stays of a minimum of 4 nights, we offer a free cleaning service, including changing linen and towels.

📶 Wi-Fi is offered free of charge. We strive to maintain a stable connection, but situations beyond our control may arise. Being a free service, no compensation is given for any interruptions.

🌡️ Please turn off lights and heating/cooling systems upon departure.

Terms of Use for Common Areas

At Casa Thymus, we want to offer an atmosphere of relaxation, tranquility, and authentic connection with nature.

🔊 For the comfort of all guests

  • Access with large speakers, audio systems, or other equipment that can play music at high volume is not allowed – neither indoors nor outdoors.
  • Only the use of a personal portable speaker, at low volume, is allowed, exclusively between 10 AM and 8 PM and without disturbing other guests or neighbors.

📌 We reserve the right to request the shutdown of any device that produces excessive noise, regardless of type.

🐾 Pets are welcome on terraces and in outdoor areas, and indoors only with our prior consent.

🔥 The barbecue can be used, but with maximum responsibility. The fire must not be left unattended at any time.

🎥 For your safety, access routes are video monitored (CCTV).

🍽️ Terms – Full Board

🥗 The full board package includes 3 meals a day and is customized according to:

  • number of people (adults/children);
  • duration of stay;
  • period of the year.

👧 Children's Rates

  • Children under 4 years old receive free meals;
  • Children between 4 and 11 years old pay 50% of the adult menu value;
  • Children over 12 years old pay the full menu.

📆 3 days before your arrival, we will send you the final menu proposal. After agreeing on the menu and confirming the number of people, no further changes can be made regarding:

  • group composition;
  • menu;
  • meals.

🍳 We cook with care, using as many fresh, local, and seasonal products as possible. We mention that sometimes, depending on the season (e.g., periods when hens do not lay eggs), the offer may be adapted.

💰 The final calculation of the payment amount will include meal services according to the agreed menu. Any additional drinks or expenses are paid upon departure.

💧 Water offered at the table is spring water, served in a carafe.

🍷 Wine is offered by the house, with pleasure, upon request.

⚠️ Access to the cellar is not permitted without being accompanied by a Casa Thymus representative.

⚠️ Also, the use of freezers or cabinets on the terrace next to the kitchen is not permitted.

🏊 Pool Use Terms

The outdoor pool is available seasonally, at ambient temperature, until early winter.

🌡️ Pool heating is possible depending on outdoor temperatures, especially nighttime ones. We want the pool to be available as much of the year as possible, but maintaining warm water depends on weather conditions.

🛟 Pool use is at your own risk. There is no lifeguard.

❌ In the pool, the following are not allowed:

  • diving;
  • pushing;
  • consumption of snacks or drinks;
  • glass objects (glasses, bottles, etc.);
  • pet access.

👶 Young children must wear special swim diapers.

⚠️ Throwing objects (e.g., bottles, glasses) into the pool incurs a penalty of at least 500 EUR.

👁️ Please supervise children at all times, regardless of age or swimming level. Even adults can have problems in water – it is recommended to swim accompanied.

👧 Children's Rates

  • Use sunscreen, even on cloudy days;
  • Avoid chewing gum in water – it can lead to accidental choking;

💡 The terrace lights turn on/off from the switch next to the downstairs bathroom.

🌡️ Heating or cooling is adjusted from the panel in each room, via the on/off button and adjusting the desired level.

📺 Televisions are used as follows:

  • Large remote (1) turns on the TV;
  • Small remote (2) turns on the receiver and allows channel selection.
